Technology & specifications

The robust and handy one-hand scanner Classic iNSight is developed by the Dutch Bas Alberts and Ruud Kraan, two gentlemen who’d previously introduced the veterinary use of ultrasound for Pie Medical. This technique has become an integral part of professional farming nowadays.

Judging by the reactions of users, experts and research institutions worldwide, the Classic iNSight developed by Alberts and Kraan, now also seems to have a good chance to become a global standard in veterinary scanning technique.

Rugged and effective
Foto-14-400x400The Classic iNSight shows pregnancy as of 19 days and is attractively priced. Based on extensive research, it is completely tailored to the needs of the users. It is made of very strong aluminum, has a good grip and can be controlled by just one hand because there is only one button on it.

European quality
Foto-25-200x200The aim of low cost does not mean that concessions have been made to quality. The scanner is entirely produced in the Netherlands, starting from the aluminum housing and the operating systems to the high-quality printed circuit boards and the clear display. High quality, durability and optimal ease of use, even under difficult conditions; that is what the developers have always kept in mind.

Waterproof and user-friendly
Foto-10-200x200The unit can be cleaned easily with household cleaners and uses four regular pen light batteries, which can be replaced in an instant. The display is made from the same hard plastic as the cockpits of F-16 fighter jets. To demonstrate and test the iNSight’s waterproof body, an active scanner is placed in a water reservoir during fairs.

All-in-one
transducer-200x200The transducer with its cap made of hard plastic, almost transparent for ultrasound, is also integrated into the device. This increases the ease of use enormously, especially compared to the scanners just cited where the probe is attached to the device by a cable. Therefore there is no risk of cable breaks with our scanners.
