Classic Tera2000
A
new era in diagnostic ultrasound scanning
With the Classic Tera2000 software, high performance SmartProbes link
directly into a desktop- or laptop PC, making diagnostic ultrasound an
intuitive PC application.
With the introduction of the new high power portable computer systems
and the development of the microminiaturized ultrasound technology it
became possible to design and build a high-resolution ultrasound system
that is a true digital asset. With this revolutionary new technology you
will never be trapped inside the traditional fixed architecture ultrasound
box but can migrate your system as new technologies and platforms become
available.
Don’t
be fooled by the small size, whether you use regular ultrasound, directional
Power Doppler or full Color Doppler, the Classic Tera2000 will deliver
top-quality performance.
Leading
edge in micro-electronic technology allows full-blown 128-channel ultrasound
performance from the SmartPobe and PC combination.
The Classic Tera2000 brings you a very high resolution digital asset that
can produce high quality 2D and M-mode images, display flow in the body
using the directional Power Doppler, full Color Doppler or evaluate it
with Spectral Doppler right on the computer screen. This digital data
can then be captured, stored, archived, recalled and reviewed or e-mailed
to a colleague or teleconsultant with ease and all with the original quality,
stable digital image.
Big system
performance becomes available with an ultra-portable plug-and-play system
that offers the added advantage of full connectivity and PC applications.
Image
archiving becomes a simple process with the built-in CD-R/RW drive and
the computer networking capability makes it possible to connect into an
existing PC network for more seamless patient data flow. Supporting software
programs can even be installed on the system itself, offering full integration
of functionality.
The 128 channel
Classic Tera2000 supports linear, microconvex, convex and phased array
probe technologies offering you the potential to use the system for virtually
any size or type of animal your practice may see. The image and gain controls
can be displayed on the screen for easy operator interfacing and client
files can be recalled for fast and easy image reviews before your current
examination.
The questions about
displays, printers, communication, data storage and recall all become
non-issues because at the heart of your system is a powerful computer
running the Microsoft Windows XP operating system that can support all
the normal peripherals available in the computer environment.
With
user input from the field, and the significant benefits of open architecture
design, the Classic Tera2000 continues to see new updates and enhancements
that both new and existing users can benefit from. The Classic Tera2000
technology has a proven track record with over 4 years of software upgrades,
and the open architecture allows users to install other productivity programs
into the PC system, such as practice management, presentation, and database
programs, to enhance their specific practice needs. There has also been
an expansion of new third-party programs, such as 3D imaging, tissue characterization,
tendon measurement and reporting software, that provide new and exciting
growth and productivity possibilities with the system.

PRODUCTS
– EQUINE – Classic Tera2000 – Probes
3 – 7 LA Repro probe
Each transducer comes with its own, optimally tuned, micro-miniaturized
128 channel digital ultrasound front-end. This very rugged electronics
box is connected to the Media Bay or External DC Module with an industry
standard LEMO connector.
The Repro probe works in a frequency range of 3 to 7 MHz, allowing use
in a wide application range.
5 – 10 LA T-probe
This high frequency 128 element probe is perfectly suited for all tendon
work. Depending on the situation, frequencies ranging from 5 to 10 MHz
can be chosen.
For small parts or small animals this probe offers, thanks to its high
frequency, excellent image quality.
2 – 4 PAS probe
With this 64 element Phased Array transducer a maximum scan-depth of 33
cm can be achieved. Add a frequency range of 2 – 4 MHz., and it
is clear that his probe is well suited for cardiac and internal organs
in large animal scanning.
4 – 8 R13 probe
The micro-convex high frequency probe is the probe of choice for small
animal scanning. With its tight radius it fits well in between the ribs
for cardiac scanning, while in the lower frequencies the angle of 110o
allows other organ scanning.
5 – 10 PAS probe
A 5 to 10 MHz, 128 element Phased Array transducer that offers superb
imaging from zero up to 14 cm. For cardiac scanning in small animals,
rodents or birds, this probe provides unsurpassed image quality with full
Doppler capabilities.
